He completed MBBS from RIMS, Ranchi (1992) and Diploma in Anaesthesia from PMCH, Patna (1997). He worked 13 years at Heritage Hospital, Varanasi (1997-2010). He is trained to handle ventilators, BiPAP machines, ABG machines, can perform temporary pacemaker procedures and conduct cardiac surgeries.
